Anterior Approach Ankle Arthrodesis Plates

The anterior approach ankle arthrodesis plates come in two types of designs depending on the anatomical differences of the neck of the talus. Each plate features two transarticular screws that allow for either a tibio-talar (TT) or tibiotalocalcaneal (TTC) arthrodesis. An anterior narrow plate was developed for a reduced approach, with a locking ramp oblong hole allowing for compression of the arthrodesis site up to 2.5mm using the screw/plate interface.

Anterolateral Approach Ankle Arthrodesis Plates

The anterolateral approach ankle arthrodesis plates are designed to preserve the fibula, with two sizes available and two transarticular screws that allow for a TT or TTC arthrodesis. An optional extension plate provides lateral support to the anterolateral approach, making the site of the TTC arthrodesis rigid when primary stability is considered insufficient.

Posterior Approach Ankle Arthrodesis Plates

The posterior approach ankle arthrodesis plates are designed to adjust to the anatomical differences in the posterior malleolus, with a standard plate and straight plate allowing for a TTC arthrodesis, and a plate with three locked holes in the talus allowing for a TT arthrodesis. Each of the posterior plates feature two transarticular screws that allow for a TT or TTC arthrodesis.
